Flora has passed all her health testing. We are planning a breeding spring 2025 (meaning puppies to go home mid-summer!) Click the link to be directed to our "Planned Breedings" page.
Flora is our youngest malamute. She is everything we could have asked for and more! We especially love her moderate, effortless movement, large yet compact feet, strong topline, functional angles, and her beautiful type and temperament. She is sociable, sweet, unshakably confident, and just a tiny bit naughty - the perfect recipe! Flora's first year in the show ring was right out of a dream. She finished her AKC Championship at the 2023 AMCA National Specialty by being awarded Winners at the age of 11 months. She finished her AKC Grand Championship at the age of 15 months, finishing with 4 major wins. She is a multi best puppy in specialty show winner and 2023 AMCA #1 Puppy. We are so proud to announce that she is a 2024 National Specialty Top 20 Qualifier, earning a place at #10 with only a few months of showing as a special. Beyond conformation... Flora has shown enthusiasm for rally obedience, finishing her Rally Novice title at 11 months old. She enjoys bikejoring and mushing by dryland rig with her housemates - she is excellent in harness and has earned her Working Team Dog title. She has recently started her introduction to weight pull and she has great form when she is not jumping up in the air :) - she's still learning how to play the game! Otherwise, she loves snuggling with her people, gathering all the Benebones in the house, digging in and stealing produce from the garden, blowing bubbles in the water bowl, carrying toys gently around the house, and rough-housing with our other girls. Flora is out Vesta (bred by Anua Alaskan Malamutes, owned by Delphi Alaskan Malamutes) and Sherlock (bred and owned by Adair'N'Hug Alaskan Malamutes). We're very proud and excited to have such an all-around beautiful girl as our hopeful foundation. |
